We are remote so we need to be super organised so we invite you to tell us your preferences - where possible we will try and source your choices. As we do live far from 'town' or the CBD as we call the 200 person settlement we offer specific (fresh) choices which means we provide a range & selection of Tasmanian cheeses & pate's together with wine whilst you relax, a fresh entree, and when you are ready, a mains and dessert all cooked by Linda who loves creating delights from our wonderful kitchen. You are encouraged to sit at the Island bench enjoying a wine & chat pre dinner whilst watching a delightful sumptuous meal being created!!
Let us know if you have some very specific dietary requirements (like nut intolerance) so that we can design meals to suit you both.
If the weather is conducive and you agree we will take you to some secret spots on the island for either dinner under the stars (in summer) or pre dinner drinks. Sometimes we will light the fire in our especially built fire pit and invite you to sit round there enjoying the setting of the sun whilst taking a pre dinner drink.
Dinner includes a glass of champagne (aperitif) as well as a bottle of red or white wine from the hugely successful Milton Vineyard in Tasmania. Wines from this vineyard are only available at the cellar door. If you prefer a more robust red (or white) then we have a choice of quality wines from vineyards around the primary wine regions of Australia. Linda & Tony have a particular interest in good quality wines so you can be assured they will match your desired types & taste with quality reds or whites. Remember, it's all about the experience!! Additional wine or drinks may be purchased at a reasonable cost. Wines by the bottle and liqueurs or spirits by the glass.
